Meet the Teacher -- ANI WEINSTEIN

Born in a cabin with no running water or electricity built by her parents (we are guessing hippies), Ani spent her early childhood running around the back woods of New Hampshire like a little wood sprite. We can see her dancing through flowers and swinging on the tree branches.

Fast forward a few years and a few miles to New York City and you could still find Ani dancing and swinging, but this time in the Off-Broadway hit "De La Guarda - Villa Villa". Ani continues to dance with independent choreographers in New York and loves the "diversity of ideas and cultures and arts" that NYC has to offer. But when asked what she finds difficult about living in New York she said "It's not the country".

Maybe it is her love of nature that makes Ani's demeanor and classes so grounding; maybe it's her creativity that makes her classes so interesting; or maybe it's her mysterious smile that makes you want to just get in there and find out more. What we do know is that the whole package is adorable.

Ani teaches Level II classes Monday 4pm and Thursday 10am.
