Hi Yoga Highers,
Take a gander at the glowing review we got on Lizzy’s blog, and then go read about her other Yoga exploits, too! Her blog is beintheflo.blogspot.com
Yoga High – yes, I am!
How did I not know about this studio earlier. It is AWESOME. If I were to open a studio, I would open one exactly like Yoga High. Run by two very cool women, it has a feeling of love to it.
It is ONE studio that is bright, big and clean. It’s like practicing outside. The blankets are folded perfectly, the rental mat feel new and the blocks are fresh. Yes, I said that the blocks were fresh. That’s how clean this place feels.
This is not to mention the teacher. I haven’t taken a really juicy, long yoga class in over a week. This one is perfect because frankly the teacher is… well perfect. His name is Rob or Robbie and he is everything you would want in a teacher. Playful, experienced and really really funny. There is something special about the way he teaches. You feel like he is there 100% for you. There is evidence of this when you are adjusted. I honestly felt like I was in a private yoga session. I thought I was super special until I saw that he does this with each one of his students.
I feel really lucky to have found this space… and more so to have found this teacher. I’m so torn because it feels like the best kept secret in the NYC, located on the perfect little street called Clinton.
